How does Polyaspartic Acid Salts work in Fertilizer?


Polyaspartic Acid Sodium/Potassium/Calcium salt is biodegradable high-molecular polymer. It is environmentally sustainable, phosphorus-free, hormone - free, heavy metal-free, non-toxic, non - pollution to the environment.


Polyaspartic Acid Metal Salts (Metal could be Na+, K+, Ca+, NH4+, etc) used as degradable environment-friendly fertilizer synergistic raw material, for the manufacture of high-performance polypeptide fertilisers and growth-enhancing fertilisers in agriculture and horticulture.

 

Polyaspartic Acid Salts (PASP salts) can be used alone (leaf spraying, root pouring, seed soaking, seed coating), as fertilizer-enhancer in PASP-urea and PASP-compound fertilizer, saline alkali soil conditioner/improver/ameliorator. It will enhance nutrient absorption of wheat, vegetable crops, fruits and flowers when used as ingredient in polypeptide urea, polypeptide compound fertilizer and controlled-release fertilizer, and improve effects of pesticide when used together.


Polysuccinimide is hydrolyzed to free polyaspartic acid in water very slowly. It also allows auto-dosage because of the slow dissolving process.

 

1. PASP promotes root growth and enhances stress resistance;
PASP is not a hormone, but it can effectively promote the development of root system, make it grow longer root and more root hairs, increase the surface area of root, improve the ability of crops to absorb nutrients, and enhance the stress resistance of crops such as lodging resistance, drought resistance, cold resistance and disease resistance.


2. Reusing phosphate and trace elements
Polyaspartic Acid can reduce the adverse effects of excessive fertilization on the environment and activate the nutrient elements in the soil in a fixed state, which not only improves the fertilizer utilization rate but also improves the soil quality.
Soluble Phosphorus react chemically with iron and aluminum in the soil or water, forming insoluble iron phosphate, aluminum phosphate, the phosphorus content which is available for crop is not high.
PASP is a polymer, with a lot of negative charge, can capture positive charge of calcium, aluminum and others from phosphate, so that phosphate and trace elements are reused. So you can reduce the amount of phosphorus to use.


3. Antiscaleant and dispersant in irrigation system, and be used as raw material for Saline Soil Ameliorator
PASP has excellent scale inhibition and dispersion properties. It reduces scaling or precipitants in foliar spraying or irrigation system.


4. PASP Chelated elements fertilizers
PASP chelating with Potassium (K), Zinc (Zn), Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg) make these micronutrient highly available for the plants too.


5. Biodegradable and Eco-friendly
